The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 90 played minutes Medoacus Maior got a freekick which was hit by Devis Tolin. Biagio Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Cubero in the 91st minute of the match. When Diego Barresi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medoacus Maior's protests and gave Diego Barresi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Spain booed when Medoacus Maior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Barresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spain's Sergio Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spain were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
