Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 5 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. With a little luck, DOLAPGÜCÜ's Behzat Seyfi got control of the ball when Sandro Galishoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Battal Cüneyt Akova got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Necip Konguralp. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behzat Seyfi having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüknettin Resulhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sandro Galishoff struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Behzat Seyfi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. Sandro Galishoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Behzat Seyfi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Galishoff ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Nalder. Serter Kapkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sandro Galishoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rüknettin Resulhan made the kick off in the second half. Battal Cüneyt Akova got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ali Kürşat Coşkunsu. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Emil Seidler hit a great ball. Fabio Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes DOLAPGÜCÜ got a freekick which was hit by Ogün Özdil. In the 80th minute, Jonas Nalder made a precise shot to the right of Behzat Seyfi. DOLAPGÜCÜ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to DOLAPGÜCÜ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Serter Kapkin hit a great ball. Marc Kronecker's late challenge caught a DOLAPGÜCÜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Kronecker helped the player get up and apologised. The Austria support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
