The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the game, Ettore Petroni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Khalid Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Manfred Konradsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Khalid Kennedy however easily saved by the left post. Dennis Bergkamp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Emiliano Furia got a free kick in the 80th minute. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Petroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Dennis Bergkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemel SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 88th minute Ettore Petroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Bergkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Dennis Bergkamp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khalid Kennedy, 0-6. 96 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but George Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemel SV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
