After 6 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Dacio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sergio Dacio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Walter Wallander. JKs Talanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 20 minutes on the clock, Edgar Davids commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örjan Björkdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Dacio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to JKs Talanger's Dick Ros getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Walter Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Christopher Kock managed to get in a good position for a shot. JKs Talanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Kock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takacs Tibor made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander managed to reach the ball for a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Örjan Björkdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. If Örjan Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Granberg in the 60th minute of play. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Walter Wallander made a huge save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Dacio who took care of the corner kick. Rasmus Eklund hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Walter Wallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Granberg in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Gösta Granberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes JKs Talanger got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Granberg. In the 91st minute Gösta Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Walter Wallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Gösta Granberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Granberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JKs Talanger.
