Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballet Azul's Alto Gøl. But to his dismay, Alto Gøl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alto Gøl in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of play forced Ballet Azul's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of the match. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes Pepe Rojas managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as Ballet Azul's supporters held their thumbs. Pepe Rojas was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 2-0. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alto Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alto Gøl in the 39th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Passi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ballet Azul's Eladio Ulloa was substituted for Oğuzhan Öksak. Ballet Azul made a substitution. Eulalio Callejas replaced Waclaw Dombrowski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Callejas to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Callejas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's Eladio Ulloa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Luis Chilavert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballet Azul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Eliseo Cutri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Luis Chilavert quite easily take care of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Ballet Azul from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match, Siricio Liotta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Luis Chilavert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Ballet Azul fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Ballet Azul's Eulalio Callejas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. 90 minutes into the match, Italy's Adriano Curto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Luis Chilavert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porziano Marchitelli. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ballet Azul from getting a goal against them. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ballet Azul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
