Quinn Holmes's late challenge caught a Grinchez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quinn Holmes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Grinchez's Alexandros Kotakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Göran Vennerdal sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. Cooper Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Alexandros Kotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Diamantino Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Micah Macdonald got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaf Bodin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th match minute, Grinchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Edström to maneuver through the defense. Quinn Holmes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Grinchez made a substitution. Sakarias Nilsson replaced Göran Vennerdal. The supporters of Grinchez booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinn Holmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Kennedy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandros Kotakis's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Quinn Holmes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Alexandros Kotakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Kennedy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandros Kotakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaf Bodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 80th minute of play. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Nilsson in the 82nd minute of play. Gustaf Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 84th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lidberg came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Nilsson in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Micah Macdonald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The England fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the England players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grinchez.
