Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sancarbey Tutku's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Tutku in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sancarbey Tutku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Netherlands had played much better football throughout.
