The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 28th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Folker Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Teun Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Folker Ubels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. England walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
