Jörn Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Flavio Vittori in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Holm. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Ian Wright tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Gustafsson in the 23rd minute of play. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hugo Hellgren hit a great ball. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Ian Wright:s penalty. 1-1 came in the 58th minute when Ian Wright all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Modig came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hugo Hellgren hit a great ball. Hugo Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Harry Ekeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Holm in the 83rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Italy! The referee gave Oakcroft Thrashers a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ian Wright, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Oakcroft Thrashers were victorious despite being under pressure from Italy for much of the match.
