Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Zuraw went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Belgium's attentive Floris Claeys managed to snatch the ball when Iwo Cwynar made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Gongolewicz in the 23rd minute of the match. Helmut Kunze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Belgium's Lenny Clocheret quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Witold Czekaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Witold Czekaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Kunze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witold Czekaj took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Czekaj came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Clocheret hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Siebe Michiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmut Kunze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Belgium's Lenny Clocheret shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Helmut Kunze but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FORZA BIANCOVERDE had won after a very even match.
