Paulistano - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the game Renan Ceresso made a throw-in which Ingars Miders played forward. 24 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Giovani Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's goalkeeper Giovani Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Maruda in the 33rd minute of play. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Renan Ceresso in the 35 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Dantas was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Paulistano - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Giovani Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the A.C. Paulistano - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead.
