The supporters of Portugal booed when Boldenona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toko Kubala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Mayer in the 8th minute of the match. Boldenona were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Galsino took the corner. Boldenona's Severino Galsino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13th minute, Dániel Mayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Dániel Mayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Dániel Mayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Ladra came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Ladra's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Ladra in the 22nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Quentin Ladra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Quentin Ladra put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 29th minute of play forced Boldenona's goalkeeper Luciano Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Ladra, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Boldenona getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Severiano Arano hit a great ball. Portugal's Felipe Barreto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luciano Abastas but with some difficulty. 38 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Ladra came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Boldenona's Luciano Abastas got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Caetano Moreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luciano Abastas. The goal made the score 1-1. Boldenona's Luciano Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 47th minute of play. Luciano Abastas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dániel Mayer to make the kick off. When Dániel Mayer fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boldenona's protests and gave Dániel Mayer a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dániel Mayer in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Viriato Moura got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Dániel Mayer scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 3-2. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Wilson Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 91st minute of play forced Boldenona's goalkeeper Luciano Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias got a free kick in the 96th minute. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dániel Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
