In the 19th minute Manfred Konradsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's João Augusto Mello got a free kick in the 25th minute. George Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ettore Petroni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalid Kennedy was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Manfred Konradsson sped through England's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. 45 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Furia came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Manfred Konradsson made a precise shot to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Furia in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Konradsson got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp was substituted for Manfred Konradsson. Ettore Petroni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Khalid Kennedy came out and tried to block the shot, but Ettore Petroni slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. Lemel SV's attentive Yuri Roelofsen managed to snatch the ball when Micah Macdonald made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Furia. Emiliano Furia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Petroni in the 86th minute of play. The throw-in from Kyle Cox in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lemel SV's Jacek Furlit. If Caelan Hayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Furia hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issac Dawson in the 94th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper George Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lemel SV played a much better game than England and deserved their victory. The England players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
