In the last second Fodor Daniel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hulk Fenomeno in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 20 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genko Balevski scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hulk Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Edmundo Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Omar Duardo had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA:s Omar Duardo showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. Edu Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 50 minutes, Edu Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Cardozo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Valentin to maneuver through the defense.
