France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho Bastos. ✪ XV de Umarizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 6 minutes of play, France's Camille Baume made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelsinho Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of France booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Simãos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nelsinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Nelsinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camille Baume in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Bastos saved ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting behind. João Adolfo Simão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but João Adolfo Simão slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, France's Remy Dupuy got a free kick in the 26th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Tavares in the 27th minute of play. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when João Adolfo Simão sent off a good shot on target. When Frank Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ✪ XV de Umarizal's protests and gave Frank Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Frank Paulista hit a great ball. Geovani Velasco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Simão in the 42nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Nelsinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ✪ XV de Umarizal's Nelsinho Bastos. Nelsinho Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
