In the 7th minute, Tiago Gabriel Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Bastos saved ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Bastos having to make a save. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Eduardo Motta got a free kick in the 17th minute. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rolf Rothberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Rothberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelsinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Hamílton Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hamílton Baptista hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 58 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's João Adolfo Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolf Rothberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelsinho Bastos. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Simão in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. When Rolf Rothberg fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Rolf Rothberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Rothberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Tavares during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Raúl Tavares got a free kick in the 82nd minute. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Nelsinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Rothberg in the 86th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Rothberg came free, but Nelsinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
