Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Osasun in the 2nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 19th minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Bozhin Bishkarov got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gernando Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Juninho Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Paiva in the 65th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Curto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 88th minute of play forced A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goalkeeper Gernando Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Ronaldão Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfredo Pinho got free with Flavio Vittori in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
