Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frédson Melo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Frédson Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 4 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radu Curea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, one of Catalin Haldan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catalin Haldan. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Olavi Liib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29th play minutes Frédson Melo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Frédson Melo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Olavi Liib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. Frédson Melo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavi Liib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olavi Liib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 58th minute. Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albin Holweck 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Olavi Liib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Eugen Morozan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catalin Haldan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Catalin Haldan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Morozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Melo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frédson Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olavi Liib. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Melo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihail Botgros who took care of the corner kick. Catalin Haldan's Mihail Botgros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Olavi Liib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
