After 13 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burkhardt Teubler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nils Hydén sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Nils Hydén tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Nils Hydén reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rene Kreiser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biene Maja 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Kreiser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Biene Maja 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Trabold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burkhardt Teubler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 38th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Claudio García sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Claudio García's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Biene Maja 09 reached it. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Kreiser in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Hydén in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Nils Hydén made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. There was no doubt that Biene Maja 09 were the better team. Biene Maja 09's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
