Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Örjan Björk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Wiktor Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes in the game Petri Romeu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Biörling. 21 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Åsbro Flåsegutter's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Ekström came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Björk in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Örjan Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Björk ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Wiktor Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fabricio Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wiktor Ekström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the game, Petri Romeu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The throw-in from Faustino Almeida in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Åsbro Flåsegutter's Zdzislaw Barniszke. 56 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Rodolfo Miranda fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Penalty! 93 minutes into the match, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Portugal's Felipinho Amorim in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalie prevented a goal. Zdzislaw Barniszke kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Bruno Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsbro Flåsegutter the free kick. After 96 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos.
