Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Heck in the 19th minute of play. Benjamin Heck scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jelte Zevenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Beetje Moe Re-United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Porreca in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
