Remond Struik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Helwig kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Beetje Moe Re-United's Remond Struik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play. Remond Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. Remond Struik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remond Struik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remond Struik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Beetje Moe Re-United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Netherlands were furious when Mathijn Doctor was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Ab Eefting:s penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaaf Groeneveldt to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remond Struik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Meesters in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remond Struik saved Beetje Moe Re-United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger de Zaaijer in the 55th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee ignored Beetje Moe Re-United's protests and gave Edwin Helwig a yellow card for diving instead. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beetje Moe Re-United. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remond Struik. That made the score 0-6 after 87 minutes of play. Edwin Helwig kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beetje Moe Re-United throughout the match.
