Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 5th minute of play. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carles Pujol. In the 15th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Makris in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Carles Pujol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Mean Machine's Carles Pujol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 42nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Menios Chloros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nedim Emekli made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Menios Chloros, 2-1. Menios Chloros made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lars Meesters sent off a good shot on target. When Mean Machine's Carles Pujol in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Makris, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Archibaldo Peñaranda. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević was substituted for Lakis Mantarinakis. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Archibaldo Peñaranda got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Luca Milivojević hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Stasinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kees Mooiweer made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer however managed to control. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Chloros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Pujol in the 91st minute of play. Nedim Emekli struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mean Machine. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mean Machine had won after a very even match.
