The audience was convinced that Issac Dawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Millán Valdés was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Caelan Hayes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Caelan Hayes a yellow card for diving instead. If Xavier Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Armal F.C.'s Alex Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Eddie Willis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Millán Valdés. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Millán Valdés should have stopped the shot. Kyle Cox blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Millán Valdés having to make a save. When Leighton Davies came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leighton Davies couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Kyle Cox got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Micah Macdonald was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Real Armal F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. England were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
