The corner led to Belgium's Siebe Michiels getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 10th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Dedé Dionísio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Yves Dervaux dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dedé Dionísio, 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Dionísio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, HollywooDogs's Dedé Dionísio got control of the ball when Lenny Clocheret tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Dedé Dionísio made a huge save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Dedé Dionísio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes in the game, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute HollywooDogs were awarded a corner. Tomás Mazza went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 45th minute, Hugo De Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Dedé Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Mazza. In the 60th minute, Adhemar Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ricardinho Alvarenga scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 1-1. HollywooDogs's Ştefan Văduva was substituted for Zeno Pfützner. 68 minutes into the game, Murilo Zamboni threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Nigel Devos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kilian Mbappè struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HollywooDogs. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Quintinus Veterini hit a great ball. Kilian Mbappè in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 80 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas de Mendonça came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Kilian Mbappè reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-2. Murilo Zamboni made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Nigel Devos. Kilian Mbappè sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's Kilian Mbappè sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Kilian Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kilian Mbappè's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The HollywooDogs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HollywooDogs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
