Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Isak in the 4th minute of play. Nils-Erik Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Hubert Valler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Valler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 19th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Adria Bielsa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson. Nils-Erik Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Hubert Valler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Nils-Erik Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, David Aranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Erik Jonsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 41st minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alexander Isak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Med Gang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Isak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Spain were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hubert Valler to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Auer. In the 70th minute of the match Spain got a corner. Med Gang FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adria Bielsa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adria Bielsa made a great header on Spain's corner, it was just that Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson managed to reach the ball for a save. When Vicente Merino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nils-Erik Jonsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carles Cherro got free with Nils-Erik Jonsson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carles Cherro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Jonsson made a huge save. Spain were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Med Gang FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adria Bielsa took the corner. The corner ended in Adria Bielsa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson did a great save. Exequiel Zeballos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Jonathan Criado kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Hubert Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Valler scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Ascaso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Spain were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
