Gerónimo Molina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gerónimo Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerónimo Molina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerónimo Molina struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Peñarol. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerónimo Molina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Peñarol's Gerónimo Molina. But to his dismay, Gerónimo Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerónimo Molina's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, C.A. Peñarol's Gerónimo Molina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Peñarol's Gerónimo Molina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerónimo Molina in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. Slovakia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Gerónimo Molina scored to the left of an out of position Henrich Slany, making the score, 6-0. 46 minutes into the game, Gerónimo Molina lined in a short shot 7-0 behind a frustrated Henrich Slany. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gerónimo Molina hit a great ball. The C.A. Peñarol fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when C.A. Peñarol's Gerónimo Molina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gerónimo Molina put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Gerónimo Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Gerónimo Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Don Pico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, C.A. Peñarol's Gerónimo Molina made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.A. Peñarol's Anselmo Velin was substituted for Gerónimo Molina. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vít Biskup didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Anselmo Velin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Velin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 92 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Velin came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrich Slany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Velin went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score.
