Thanks to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Sigfrido Auletta tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Dacian Nițescu seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Nițescu having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Nițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes in the game Mauro Dos Santos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Don Cabezon. In the 25th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Cutri to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Nițescu. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siricio Liotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 36 minutes into the game, Mauro Dos Santos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Samuel Mambru was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. Mauro Dos Santos made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gorri Sañudo. Porziano Marchitelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Nițescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Porziano Marchitelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano Curto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save.
