Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Romania's Adam Olaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Wieslaw Panasewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 6th minute of play forced Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Romania's Vasile Ciumak got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's Reynaldo Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gimnasia y tiro were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Romania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esben Nordborg took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasvan Cristescu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wieslaw Panasewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Rasvan Cristescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasvan Cristescu got free with Wieslaw Panasewicz in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25thth minute of the game Adam Olaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Romania's Costica Vladimiri fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Adam Olaru scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wieslaw Panasewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wieslaw Panasewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Serban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wieslaw Panasewicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Serban slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Gimnasia y tiro's Basilio Guillem was substituted for Jonatan Euloxu. Gimnasia y tiro's Abdel Karim Santirso was substituted for Reynaldo Montrelle. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Gimnasia y tiro's Giorgi Lekov was substituted for Luisito Eguntsenti. The wind increased when Abdel Karim Santirso made the kick off in the second half. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. Anton Stinga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Wieslaw Panasewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Karim Santirso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 90th playminute. In the 93rd minute Octavian Vaduva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
