Rab Cura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rab Cura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rab Cura having to interfere. When Lakis Traganitis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the RODOS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakis Traganitis couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, RODOS F.C.'s Marcin Wawro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gilberto Funes managed to get in a good position for a shot. RODOS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Funes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rab Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rab Cura having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, RODOS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgun Ilgıt to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Rab Cura. RODOS F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 64thth minute of the game Marcin Wawro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Traganitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rab Cura having to make a save. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakis Traganitis in the 71st minute of play. RODOS F.C.'s Dimitris Venieris was substituted for Gilberto Funes. Sakis Satrapis made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcin Wawro however managed to control. Rab Cura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Traganitis in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Yves Dervaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Dervaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rab Cura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Lakis Traganitis made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
