Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mattias Wallengren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The throw-in from Indiana Turban in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Linus Schwerner. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Faustino Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Faustino Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tadeo Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 12th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 17th minute of the match. Amancio Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes Newell´s's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristobal Estavan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristobal Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Newell´s's Cristobal Estavan got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Germany booed when Newell´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Estavan. Newell´s's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Bilintx in the 62nd minute of play. Newell´s's Tadeo Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Newell´s's Tadeo Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Bilintx. After 82 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Abel Umea. Cristobal Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Fernan Crescencio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Sven Krakouer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Newell´s's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Estavan came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Newell´s players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
