In the 3rd minute, Pilar's Honorato Jenaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Maximino Patrido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Maximino Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Dupuy in the 8th minute of play. Maximino Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Pilar getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Oscar Cortez hit a great ball. Maximino Patrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Pilar's Honorato Jenaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxime Durand. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Maximino Patrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorato Jenaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Pilar's Maximino Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 31st minute of play. Maximino Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 34th minute of the match. After 36th play minutes Honorato Jenaro shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Maxime Durand and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. Pilar's Maximino Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Honorato Jenaro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Maximino Patrido made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 55th minute of play forced Pilar's goalkeeper Maximino Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Jenaro's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Robert Chapuis's late challenge caught a Pilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Chapuis helped the player get up and apologised. If David Barbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pilar's Maximino Patrido. Maximino Patrido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lesli Arteaga hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Pilar's goalkeeper Maximino Patrido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Pilar's Maximino Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 77th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Jenaro in the 78th minute of the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Fernanco in the 79th minute of play. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Maximino Patrido made a huge save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilar's goalkeeper Maximino Patrido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pilar booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
