The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdir Velloso struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Björkqvist saved Here Comes the Hammer from getting behind. Carlinhos Félix scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Félix in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. When John Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave John Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. John Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Edmund Hansson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Hansson to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see France's David Barbier in action when he in the 93rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, France's David Barbier got a free kick in the 95th minute. France's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Here Comes the Hammer had won, even though France had held more of the ball.
