Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Northern Lights's José Augusto Hoffmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from You Fei in the 6th minute of the match. Viriato Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Başaran Ötüken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. José Augusto Hoffmann took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Northern Lights's goalkeeper Başaran Ötüken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nurkan Gündoğan came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Amorim could save by the left post. Başaran Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Fabricio Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Ötüken having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Northern Lights got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Hoffmann. 24 minutes into the match, Northern Lights's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Başaran Ötüken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nurkan Gündoğan sent off a good shot on target. Başaran Ötüken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Andrade in the 29th minute of play. Başaran Ötüken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Andrade went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Başaran Ötüken having to make a save. Başaran Ötüken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fazıl Hüsnü Sümer during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fazıl Hüsnü Sümer kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Felipe Barreto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Northern Lights's Başaran Ötüken didn't even have to move. Başaran Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Özer Geçer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Ötüken having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Northern Lights's Nurkan Gündoğan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nurkan Gündoğan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Northern Lights protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nurkan Gündoğan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Başaran Ötüken in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Northern Lights's Başaran Ötüken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Northern Lights from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Northern Lights's goalkeeper Başaran Ötüken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Pimentel. Başaran Ötüken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when You Fei came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başaran Ötüken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Northern Lights's attentive Erman Kayıhan managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78thth minute of the game You Fei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Felipinho Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Northern Lights's You Fei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Hoffmann in the 86th minute of play. Faustino Almeida made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Northern Lights's Erman Kayıhan. 93 minutes into the game, Özgün Serbülend threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 96th minute of play forced Northern Lights's goalkeeper Başaran Ötüken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Başaran Ötüken successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 97th minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Portugal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
