With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. FC Beatriz 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Eurico lago was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lars Steen. FC Beatriz 08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Denmark for a fine match.
