Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Turkish Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Haşim Kazakhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz İslam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilgaz İslam took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bircan Kazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bircan Kazım breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bircan Kazım, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bircan Kazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the Turkish Academy defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bircan Kazım. The Turkish Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bircan Kazım should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Turkish Academy's Bircan Kazım. Bircan Kazım was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Turkish Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burak Babaoğlu made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Kazakhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Turkish Academy's goalkeeper Bircan Kazım had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 56th minute of play forced Turkish Academy's goalkeeper Bircan Kazım to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Bircan Kazım took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egbert Nijveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Turkish Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bircan Kazım. That made the score 1-4 after 71 minutes of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bircan Kazım, passed just outside the right post. Bircan Kazım showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
