Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gölcükspor's goalkeeper Bahattin Balaban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Gölcükspor booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Ahmet Bedri Keskiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ahmet Bedri Keskiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahattin Balaban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Renaud Grandpré kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Bahattin Balaban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Renaud Grandpré left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gölcükspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Gölcükspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bahattin Balaban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Cocca in the 43rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Amos Cocca made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Gölcükspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmut Gürgen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Germany booed when Gölcükspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmut Gürgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amos Cocca's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Cocca in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Gölcükspor were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Bedri Keskiner took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Bedri Keskiner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Amos Cocca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Gölcükspor's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Bahattin Balaban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bedri Keskiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gölcükspor's Çağatay Kuyas was substituted for Amos Cocca. Çağatay Kuyas took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 93rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense.
