Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Pes in the 23rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Rosalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Delmiro Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Delmiro Rosalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Parente during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AC 1986 Vinalito's Delmiro Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 72nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Damian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Rosalio having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmiro Rosalio came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 94th minute of play forced AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Delmiro Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
