After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, George Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's supporters rose to their feet, but George Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. After 8 played minutes αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ got a freekick which was hit by Raul Quinto. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when George Lucas came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Lucas in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël Isla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Bladi in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël Isla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël Isla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Alfredo Tohias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of play. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of the match. Felipe Barreto scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniël Isla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Raul Quinto took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniël Isla made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Daniël Isla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Esteve Lando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Felipinho Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniël Isla could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's zone, Felipinho Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniël Isla came out of the goal and Felipinho Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Felipinho Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniël Isla. That made the score 3-2 after 84 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Felipinho Amorim put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Daniël Isla. Daniël Isla came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
