Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Lindkvist came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The Djurgården IF fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Djurgården IF's Gustav Ahlrot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Eric Dinnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Du Chong Le took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 32nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Djurgården IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Sven-Edvin Lindkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Germany booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Dinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Du Chong Le having to make a save. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 66th minute of play. Du Chong Le showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 72nd minute of the match. Sverker Petersson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverker Petersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sverker Petersson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Chong Le breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Dinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to Germany's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Alexander Nilsson tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Tommy Kahn seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. Djurgården IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
