Portugal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 8th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Wessel Bos made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Felice. After a rather tough play, KN ZGORZELEC's Gwidon Furtok got a free kick in the 21st minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 22nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Emilio Shepherd successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bruno Bastos got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felipe Barreto. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Anthimos Ntounias put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of KN ZGORZELEC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Wessel Bos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Wessel Bos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Wessel Bos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Wessel Bos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwidon Furtok kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 65th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 69th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Shepherd having to make a save. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes in the game Emiliano Felice got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wessel Bos got free with Wilson Amorim in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wessel Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KN ZGORZELEC's performance. The match ended with a win for KN ZGORZELEC.
