Jan Puchlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to AS Monaco FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Borys Wejta hit a great ball. Andrzej Andrychowski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Jan Puchlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Puchlik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Zukowski in the 17th minute of the match. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Puchlik having to make a save. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the AS Monaco FC defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Puchlik. The AS Monaco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Puchlik should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 30th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Jan Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after AS Monaco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 34th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Puchlik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 43rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Puchlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franciszek Zukowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AS Monaco FC's Jan Puchlik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save AS Monaco FC from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the game, Borys Wejta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Monaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. 58 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of AS Monaco FC's Jan Puchlik. Jan Puchlik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AS Monaco FC's Jan Puchlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Puchlik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Jan Puchlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Puchlik was left in no man's land by his defense there! AS Monaco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Major Barna scored to the left of an out of position Jan Puchlik, making the score, 0-7. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jan Puchlik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary.
