Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Frânculescu having to interfere. Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Basarab Panciu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panait Frânculescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Panait Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Zhou notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Alexandria Team08 defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Frânculescu. The Alexandria Team08 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Frânculescu should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Zhou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 46 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bas Tuitert the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Netherlands protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bas Tuitert had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Arnout Reekers had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Kılıç Özyuva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Maxim Constantinescu replaced Cosmin Apostu. 57 minutes into the match, Zhou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After 61 minutes of play, Alexandria Team08's Zhou made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gust Ennemans made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alexandria Team08's Kılıç Özyuva. When Netherlands's Lars Meesters in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexandria Team08's goalie prevented a goal. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Panait Frânculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panait Frânculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 99th minute, Grigoris Carpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandria Team08's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
