Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes in the game, Trayan Davchev fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Nicasio Demario in the 19th minute really tested Tommy Kahn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Juventud Antoniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Mannie to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Bela in the 59th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lobo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulrich Stein heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ulrich Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Baldomero Shantala skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lobo Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventud Antoniana were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
