Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Altamirano in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo de Moraes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 14th minute. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Vista Alegre FC's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galen Kvick in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The Vista Alegre FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Vista Alegre FC's Galen Kvick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kees Mooiweer fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Kees Mooiweer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Altamirano took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Altamirano to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Altamirano in the 61st minute of the match. The nice shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 63rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ronaldo de Moraes had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ronaldo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Rodrigo Altamirano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo de Moraes was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Lars Meesters capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Meesters really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Dudu Magalhães replaced Luiz Gustavo Vergílio. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronaldo de Moraes firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vista Alegre FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
