Sverker Danielsson started the match with the kick off. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. Kajetan Dawiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Sverker Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sverker Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Sverker Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomberto Picozzi to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kajetan Dawiec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Dawiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 严风坤 kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dawiec having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Wrocanka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sverker Danielsson in the 54th minute. Gomberto Picozzi tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Flavio Vittori. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kajetan Dawiec. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Danielsson in the 61st minute of the match. The corner led to FC Wrocanka's Lu Bin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Dawiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sverker Danielsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dawiec having to interfere. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 84th minute of the match, Guiscardo Davide got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kajetan Dawiec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Wrocanka's Teobald Chodzinski got a free kick in the 85th minute. Siricio Liotta scored 1-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Dawiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Wrocanka throughout the match.
