In the 22nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Wils FC defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Frans. The Wils FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Frans should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Frans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andreas Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play. Wils FC's Andreas Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 40th minute of play. Andreas Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Egbert Nijveldt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Andreas Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edwin Koppen was the one to do the kick off. Wils FC's Andreas Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 54 played minutes Wils FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar De Putter. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. With a little luck, Wils FC's Andreas Frans got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald De Messemaeckre in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Harald De Messemaeckre came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 94th minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands played a much better game than Wils FC and deserved their victory. The Wils FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
