Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Gabriele Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Gabriele Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriele Batistuta 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Viriato Moura struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Camilo Salvidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. After some careless play in the Menchu FC defense, Viriato Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Salvidor. The Menchu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Salvidor should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Uriel Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 3-2 after 33 minutes of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Gabriele Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Menchu FC's attentive Siro Osasun managed to snatch the ball when Rodolfo Miranda made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Peter Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Söderqwist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Peter Söderqwist got a free kick in the 66th minute. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Menchu FC made a substitution. Herbert Pilarski replaced Uriel Gorri. Menchu FC's Mayer Candelo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. In the 68th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Gabriele Batistuta sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. 76 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriele Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roberto Carlo immediately put the ball in play. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Pilarski came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Abdoulay Doucouré went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Menchu FC's Abdoulay Doucouré to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abdoulay Doucouré succeeded in the game's 85th minute to get real power on a long shot . Portugal's Wilson Amorim hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 8-2! In the 91st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Menchu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
