Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. In the 7thth minute of the game Radomil Mietus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radomil Mietus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Pimentel in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Firman saved Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting behind. Pastor Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 13th minute of play. Radomil Mietus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graciano Coutinho in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Firman saved Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting behind. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Radomil Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anacleto Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Mietus came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Radomil Mietus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Radomil Mietus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomil Mietus made a kick off. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman did a great save. Pastor Firman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 56th minute. Federico Totakoxe made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Felipe Barreto could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Pastor Firman however easily saved by the left post. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Sportivo Quilmes getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Federico Totakoxe hit a great ball. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. The supporters of Portugal booed when Club Sportivo Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Totakoxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Firman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. 92 minutes into the game, Felipinho Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pastor Firman. Felipinho Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
