Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leopoldo dos Santos's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Porto Sul Football's Leopoldo dos Santos got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. In the 7th minute, Caetano Novaes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when César de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Alexander Mejía almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. In the 13th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César de Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Maxime Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ademir Loyola hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Leopoldo dos Santos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by César de Moraes from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. 27 minutes into the match, Samuel Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Porto Sul Football's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match France got a corner. Porto Sul Football's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. France's Quentin Beaux was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francesco Toldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Caetano Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Samuel Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porto Sul Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After 38 played minutes Porto Sul Football got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Netto. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Calisto Flayre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porto Sul Football were furious when Alexander Mejía was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when César de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Francesco Toldo was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Camille Baume capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camille Baume really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 55 minutes into the game, César de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 minutes of play, Porto Sul Football's César de Moraes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Calisto Flayre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Robiquet during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, France's Henry Robiquet got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Porto Sul Football's Calisto Flayre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game César de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César de Moraes in the 75th minute of play. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. Caetano Novaes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Robert Chapuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porto Sul Football's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Porto Sul Football from getting a goal against them.
